Topomox LP eye drops contains Moxifloxacin 0.5% with Loteprednol Etabonate 0.5% as a sterile preservative free solution for topical ophthalmic use. Moxifloxacin belongs to Fluroquinolone group of antibacterial. Moxifloxacin kills the bacteria which causes infection by inhibiting the enzymes – topoisomerase II and topoisomerase IV, which plays key role in bacterial cell wall formation. Loteprednol Etabonate belongs to corticosteroid group of drugs for treatment of steroid responsive ocular inflammatory conditions. Topomox LP eye drops is prescribed to treat ocular infection and inflammation and as prophylaxis in post ocular surgery.
Pack Presentation: TOPOMOX LP eye drops is supplied in white opaque plastic dropper bottle with a cap, containing 5ml of the solution.
