Brimzee T eye drops contain Brimonidine Tartrate IP 0.2% + Timolol Maleate 0.5% as a sterile solution for topical ophthalmic use. The fixed-dose combination of brimonidine and timolol brings about a reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) by acting on the different factors for raised IOP. Brimonidine increases the uveo-scleral flow of aqueous humour whereas timolol reduces the production of the aqueous humour. Brimzee T is prescribed to patients with chronic open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension or those who are insufficiently responding to topical beta-blockers only. Pack Presentation: Brimzee T eye drops are supplied in a white opaque plastic dropper bottle with a cap, containing 5ml of the solution.
