Vasomig tablet contains Flunarizine 5 & 10 mg belonging to the selective calcium channel antagonist class of drug. Flunarizine blocks the inflow of calcium into the cells and brings about dilation of coronary and systemic arteries resulting in decreased systemic blood pressure and total peripheral resistance. Vasomig tablets are prescribed as a prophylactic treatment for migraine; significantly reducing the frequency and the severity of headaches in adults and children.
