Epimist eye gel contains Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) 2% w/w as a sterile ocular lubricant for topical ophthalmic use. HPMC is a type of cellulose that stabilizes and thickens the precorneal tear film and relieves the symptoms of dry eye conditions like itching, burning, foreign body sensation, and dryness.
