Gatifive eye drops contains Gatifloxacin 0.5% as a sterile solution for topical ophthalmic use. Gatifloxacin belongs to Fluroquinolone group of anti-bacterials. Gatifloxacin inhibits the DNA gyrase enzyme which plays important role in bacterial cell replication. Thus, it inhibits the bacterial cell replication and eradication of infective pathogen. Gatifive is prescribed for treating extraocular infective conditions or for preventing any infection in ocular surgical cases.
Pack Presentation: Gatifive eye drops is supplied in white opaque plastic dropper bottle with a cap, containing 5ml of the solution.
