Tobamyn eye drops contains tobramycin 0.3% as a sterile solution for topical ophthalmic use. Tobramycin belongs to aminoglycoside group of antibiotics. Tobramycin inhibits the formation of 70S which in return prevents the formation of protein required for cellular metabolism, resulting into bacterial death. Tobamyn eye drops is prescribed for treatment of external infections of the eye and its adnexa caused by susceptible bacteria.
Pack Presentation: Tobamyneye drops is supplied in white opaque plastic dropper bottle with a cap, containing 5ml of the solution.
