Tobamyn F eye drops contains tobramycin 0.3% with Fluorometholone acetate 0.1% as a sterile suspension for topical ophthalmic use. Tobramycin belongs to aminoglycoside group of antibiotics. Tobramycin inhibits the formation of 70S which in return prevents the formation of protein required for cellular metabolism, resulting into cellular death. Fluromethaloneis a steroid which blocks the production of prostaglandins that are responsible for inflammation. Tobamyn F ophthalmic suspension is prescribed for treatment of superficial ocular infection co-existing with inflammation.
Pack Presentation: Tobamyn F eye drops is supplied in white opaque plastic dropper bottle with a cap, containing 5ml of the solution.
